is a young artist from Düsseldorf, Germany, who recently graduated in the masterclass of the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf.
Looking at and admiring artworks gives us the most precious thing we have – a consciously lived moment. The artist Klara Landwehr sees it as her mission to hold open a door to the present moment for the viewer and to offer him or her the opportunity to be present and awake. She communicates something unclassifiable that no verbal description can do justice to. What matters is to recognize the worth of the existing and to experience it with all senses in the present moment. The supposed familiar is experienced in a new form and from a fresh perspective. We are confronted by the universe of an image and sense a deceleration. The moment feels like a hole in the fabric of time, a new space. The artist is a transmitter of the undefinable and allows us to appreciate anew the nature of things in an unaccustomed, direct view and to grasp pure existence with all our senses.
